Youth Development Team (November - March 2025)
Ages 10+
Do you plan on racing the CDC, NWCUP or are a NICA team rider?
This is for the dedicated shredders who aren't afraid to get wet! Continue your training this Fall & Winter with Coach Robbie.
With a strong focus on gravity oriented riding Coach Robbie's YDT will strengthen cardio & stamina while progressing bike handling through the off season. More than just a group of kids riding together, Coach Robbie has curated an environment where adolescents are appropriately challenged and encouraged to push themselves. Within this team participants will learn the importance of commitment, goal setting, self-discipline, mental toughness, learning to work with others, and handling fear and failure.
Robbie will challenge team riders by combining focused skill building segments (including airbag/foam pit practice), trail building, trick progression and community outreach.
Coach Robbie will set team goals and riders will set personal goals from achieving PR's to safely clearing all features on advanced/expert rated trails in the area and building a repertoire of tricks.
Riders must have rain gear & two lights (Handlebar, Helmet) and commit to scheduled practices & trail building days.
Front & rear fenders, clear eyewear. Full face, chest & back protector, knee pads & gloves are required. Half shell allowed in suitable conditions.
***Practice Scheduled dates/times/locations will be shared after registration***
