Jump 101
Preston, Wa. No experience needed. This adult-only introductory course is designed for beginners and riders who have not jumped yet or are not comfortable jumping. Coach Robbie’s method centers around your safety and comfort - when we’re relaxed we process information more readily. With care and patience, together you’ll take small, approachable steps to get you safely into the air.
Robbie’s airbags provide an invaluable experience, creating a safety net for you to learn the right technique in a supportive group setting. Paired with slow motion video feedback and lots of repetition from you, you’ll leave with soaring confidence and a sound understanding of the physics and body mechanics when we’re getting two wheels off the ground. Riders average from 50-70 jumps during their session. 8:1 riders:coach.
Class will begin with a small 2’ airbag & ramp touching the landing pad - no need to get into the air until you feel ready! A second airbag, 4.5’, will be available to push your jumping to new heights after dialing in your form. An additional 4.5’ airbag with taller ramp, plus a foam pit + steeper ramps await those who want it!
The goal for this class is to have each rider safely land onto the first and second (2' & 4.5') airbags, working up to a gap size of up to 6' (ramp & airbag spacing will increase incrementally during your session based on your comfort).
Helmet & knee pads are required.
